A typical troop meeting
| 7:00 PM | Opening ceremony — flags, Scout Oath & Law, announcements |
| 7:10 PM | Skills & program — merit badge work, outdoor skills, trip planning |
| 7:50 PM | Patrol time — patrols meet, plan, and prepare for upcoming outings |
| 8:15 PM | Game & closing — troop game, Scoutmaster's minute, dismissal |
